An exhibition of four Abu Dhabi-based artists - ‘New Directions’ - is taking place at the Chocolate Gallery, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr. Featuring paintings and ‘artist books’ – a first-of-its-kind concept for the UAE capital, the exhibition runs until December 31, 2012.

The joint collection of paintings from Julia Ibbini, Emily Gordon, Janine Ibbini and Andrew Field uses a variety of materials and techniques, from oil and water to textile, digital and assemblage (three-dimensional or two-dimensional artistic compositions).

Ten percent of all sales proceeds will be donated to the Special Care Centre, an Abu Dhabi-based volunteer organisation helping intellectually and physically challenged children.
Entry is free
