Henrik Yde-Andersen, the man behind the world’s only Michelin-starred Thai restaurant, is bringing his unique style of molecular Thai cuisine to the UAE capital. Chef Henrik will head a restaurant promotion at the Pachaylen Thai restaurant, Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara, from February 5-8, part of the 2014 Gourmet Abu Dhabi festival.
The ‘Masterchef Denmark’ judging star now owns and runs six restaurants in his homeland, including his ‘Kiin Kiin’ (‘Come & Eat’) outlet in Copenhagen, which became the first Thai restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star. He is also behind the kitchen of Bangkok’s celebrated Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin restaurant, now ranked among the ‘Best 50 Asian Restaurants’ in the S. Pellegrino & Acqua Panna culinary listings.
Chef Henrik’s February appearance in Abu Dhabi will be his first in Arabia.
