Abu Dhabi Corniche
One of Abu Dhabi’s main attractions is its Corniche. The word ‘Corniche’ typically describes a waterfront area paralleled by a main road. Recently, the area has undergone massive redevelopment and looks magnificent against the silhouette of towering buildings. Its well designed walking path offers a pool of activities for all residents and visitors. It is ideal for those looking to spend quiet time cycling, jogging or roller-blading along the seashore of Abu Dhabi Island.
The Corniche is known as the entertainment zone that has a number of traditional café amusement centres and shopping malls. The beautifully landscaped parks and picnic grounds receive large turn-up from local crowd during cooler months and is considered one of the city’s best hangouts.
