Masdar City Central Park is located in Masdar City, one of the world's most sustainable urban communities, a low-carbon development made up of a rapidly growing clean-tech cluster.

This sustainable and beautiful park’s landmark feature is a water tower that collects humidity to supplement the water-efficient irrigation system feeding the park’s urban farming areas. The park is also home to climbers and green walls that grow herbs, fruits and vegetables, as well as a children’s playground for little ones to burn off energy.

Masdar City Central Park’s design reflects the four principles of the Estidama Pearl Community Rating System, a framework for sustainable design, construction and operation of communities, buildings and villas. These principles cover economic, environmental, social and cultural aspects, with the park being built to the highest sustainability standards to reduce energy and water consumption, construction and operational waste, and carbon emissions for materials used in the park.
